Motley Rice attorneys filed a consolidated lawsuit in the District of Columbia on August 15, 2002, which has since been consolidated and transferred to the Southern District of New York, on behalf of the families of those who were killed and injured during the attacks. This groundbreaking suit names the individuals, banks and charities allegedly behind the al-Qaeda terrorist financing network.

The ultimate goal of this landmark litigation is to bankrupt those individuals or entities that fund terrorism and hold them accountable under the civil justice system.
